Integrate your BlueJeans account with the Intellum platform to be able to create BlueJeans video conferences from within the platform and connect users to live, in-person events.

This article provides an overview of the features of the BlueJeans integration and the platform setup required to integrate a BlueJeans account.


Things to note:

  • BlueJeans offers a proprietary app that users will be prompted to download prior to joining a BlueJeans web conference
  • BlueJeans meetings and events can only be created after an integration is set up. Existing events cannot be converted
  • BlueJeans web conferences created in the Intellum platform must be managed in the platform. Changes in BlueJeans do not sync to Intellum
  • Enrollments in BlueJeans web conferences created in the Intellum platform must be managed in the platform. Changes in BlueJeans do not sync to Intellum

Features overview


Connect BlueJeans Meetings or BlueJeans Events to be able to create, manage, and host BlueJeans web conferences within Intellum.  Our BlueJeans integrations provide the following functionality in the platform:

  • Add BlueJeans web conferences through in-platform event creation
  • Add web conferences in bulk via CSV
  • Sync attendee lists between platforms
  • Sync date changes between platforms

Connect BlueJeans Meetings


Unrestricted admin can integrate BlueJeans Meetings through the Apps page within account Settings.

Follow these instructions to authorize BlueJeans from within the platform:

  1. Navigate to account Settings in the expanded admin navigation.
  2. Select the Apps tab on the account Settings page to access App Settings.
  3. Scroll to find the BlueJeans integration and click Authorize BlueJeans Meetings.
  4. If necessary, log in to your BlueJeans account.
  5. When prompted, click Allow to authorize your Intellum account with BlueJeans.
  6. You are returned to the Intellum platform, now authorized.

BlueJeans Meetings is now connected. The Apps page reflects the connection - as seen below:

Connect BlueJeans Events


BlueJeans set up

You'll need to complete a few steps to set up BlueJeans Events for connection to the Intellum platform:

  1. Contact BlueJeans support and request they enable Oauth access for BlueJeans Events on your account.
  2. Once enabled, add a new app from the Oauth Access page in BlueJeans. Admin>OAuth Access>Add New App.

Ensure you have the following information from the new app and your BlueJeans account before moving forward:

  • App Key
  • App Secret
  • Email address of a BlueJeans Events admin

Intellum set up

With the above information, unrestricted admin can integrate BlueJeans Events through the Apps page within account Settings.

  • Follow these instructions to connect BlueJeans Events to the platform:

  1. Navigate to account Settings in the expanded admin navigation.
  2. Select the Apps tab on the account Settings page to access App Settings.
  3. Scroll to find the BlueJeans integration and click Authorize BlueJeans Meetings.
  4. Add the BlueJeans app information and your account email to the configuration page in the platform.
  5. Click Save.

When your configuration is successfully saved, you'll be taken to your BlueJeans Events list in the platform. Click Back to return to the Apps page.

BlueJeans Events is now connected. The Apps page reflects the connection - as seen below:

View BlueJeans Meetings & Events


You can access a list of linked BlueJeans Meetings or Events within Intellum by clicking on the View button for your BlueJeans integration - as seen below:

The list is sorted chronologically, featuring your most future events first. Each link points to the specific Meeting or Event in your BlueJeans account.

Once connected, Intellum users that have permission to create events can choose to create BlueJeans meetings for events in the platform.

Remove BlueJeans connection


Disconnect your BlueJeans account from the Intellum platform by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to account Settings in the expanded admin navigation.
  2. Select the Apps tab on the account Settings page to access App Settings.
  3. Scroll to find BlueJeans and click the Remove Connection link to remove the appropriate BlueJeans connection.
  4. The platform will ask you to confirm the removal - click Ok.
