Insights activates data-driven dashboards for the Initiatives and Content in your learning site. It also lets you download access to a Data Warehouse connection for your Intellum account for custom data analysis and visualization in your tools.
This article provides step-by-step instructions for accessing, activating, and requesting download access to the Data Warehouse in the Intellum platform.
Things to note:
- Access to the Data Warehouse requires that Insights is enabled for your account. Reach out to an Intellum representative to learn more about Insights.
Activate Data Warehouse Download
Navigate to Admin view in the Intellum platform. Open the admin nav panel and select Settings at the bottom of the list.
To activate and download access to the data warehouse, go to the Apps tab and scroll to find Data Warehouse. Select Activate Download.
Once activated, the platform informs you that access has been requested - as seen below:
You'll receive an email within 24 hours that includes instructions to download a file with the requested data.
Navigate back to the Data Warehouse section of the Apps tab in account settings for the information you need to connect.
Revoke the Data Warehouse Key
Access to the Data Warehouse can be revoked through the Intellum platform as needed.
Navigate to the Data Warehouse section of the Apps tab in account Settings to revoke access. Select Revoke Data Warehouse Key.
The platform will prompt you to confirm the request before access is revoked.
Helper text on the page confirms that revoking access cannot be undone.
To reconnect to the Data Warehouse, you will need to follow the instructions at the beginning of this article to activate and request download access.
